Since I’ve joined Oracle in late 2009, the amount of presentations delivered on marketing, customer, partner or internal events have been outstanding. But there’s one thing that has always puzzled me: most of the attendees simply don’t take any handwritten notes these days. The answer is far less mysterious: in the end all of them are expecting me to send the presentation, or have a place in the internet to download the slide deck.
I confess that I’m a bit old school and whenever I attend presentations I take loads of notes and I carry my paper books like they were gold. Maybe it’s because I don’t attend a tenth of the ones I lecture

I’ve changed roles and since the summer of 2011 I’m now an Engineered Systems Enterprise Architect in the Engineered Systems Architecture Team (ESAT) of EMEA. Our team is also responsible for Sales Enablement activities in EMEA regarding Engineered Systems.
